Yesterday was Connor's 3rd birthday (his first with us). It was a very busy day and we did not get to celebrate until after dinner. He enjoyed blowing out his candles (with a little help from Tiana) and loved his gifts. He is a true boy and loves anything with wheels.

The past 8 months with Connor has been a ride. That is for sure! :) He is a sweet little boy with a whole lot of spice ;) The noise level in our home has went up quite dramatically and he can throw a tantrum with the best. We love our little guy with the million dollar smile, and self confident strut.

Happy Birthday Wild Man, we are so happy you are home.

A Day At Old McDonalds Farm

Saturday Chris and I took Tiana, Connor and our granddaughter Madisyn to Old McDonalds Farm. They had a blast feeding all the animals, taking a pony and train ride and playing on the playground. At the end of the day they also got to choose a pumpkin and as you can see they were very happy with their choices. BTW have you ever tried to get a 3,4,and 5 year old to look and smile at the same time. I took several pics, but finally gave up. I will post the best one. lol!

Snaggle Tooth

How can it be that my baby lost her first tooth already? It had been loose all week and then last night as she was eating an ice cream cone it came out. She just matter of factly handed it to me and said. I lose my tooth mama. lol! The tooth fairy came last night and it was too funny watching her this morning. She very carefully picked up the edge of the pillow then laid it back down and said " You do it mama" , I think she was afraid of what she would find. lol!!!

Happy Birthday Sweet Girl

Today Tiana turns 5 years old. It is just not possible for me to adequately express my love for this sweet child. I often wonder what I have done in life to deserve to be her mommy. As happy as I am to have that honor, my heart breaks for her birth parents, and the loss they must feel not having her in their lives. Without invading her privacy it was very evident by a letter they left that she was deeply loved, but because of her cleft lip were unable to get her the care she needed. I pray on this day and everyday that somehow they have peace with their decision. I wish they knew how loved and cherished she is.

I took her to have birthday photos done today and of course as always she hammed it up in front of the camera. She makes the photographers job very easy. I have downloaded a few.
