Taking a rideSeptember 13th we had an unwelcome visitor by the name of Ike blow through. Fortunately for us the damage was minimal, but for so many others it was much worse. Families have lost their homes, businesses and for some their lives.
We had some trees fall, shingles and siding blown off and lots of yard work. We were also without power for 8 days, but now things are up and running and getting back to "normal."

I'm so thankful to read that you are all okay and that your home survived. I'm still praying for all the others who are facing much more difficult circumstances because of the storm.
I love the picture of Tiana asleep on the tractor with her Baba! Very cute!
